Wu-Tang Clan

I like hip hop clans, posses, crews and cliques.

There’s strength in numbers thing going on when a group of artists unite and create music.

Any cruddy clique assembled like Brown Bag Allstars, the legendary Juice Crew, NWA and Wu-Tang Clan gets my attention.

The beauty of supergroups like Wu-Tang Clan is that most of the group members have solo material and tons of tracks together.

Within the last 15 years, almost every Wu-Tang Clan member has made a visit to Montreal. Some members have even made multiple solo or collective trips

Local promoter Matt "Dutch" Garner died days before the scheduled Ghostface Killah concert date he worked to make happen.

With regards to Ghostface Killah, it should be no surprise that he would perform the verses for some of his Wu-Tang members that were absent from the stage.   I saw and heard Method Man do the same.

I admire that camaraderie among the Wu-Tang Clan.  Each MC is respected in their own right and for each to be able to recite each other’s lyrics speaks volumes especially after twenty years in the game.
